👇ABOUT THIS VIDEO👇
This video will talk about the 7 best golf training aids for mid-handicap players. I’ll also mention the cheapest place I could find each of them. Share this video:
#7: SKLZ Golf Flex: This is a great training device to dial in your lag. It’s much more effective than swinging a club and it’ll condition the right muscles to generate more speed through your shot. It’ll also help you improve your tempo.
#6: Golf Alignment Sticks: If you’re going to be doing any sort of practice you need to get yourself some alignment sticks. They’re cheap and super helpful for making sure you’re actually aligned to the target. I found I was always off by a bit in my alignment until I got some of these. You can also get some cheap yardsticks from Home Depot that will work.
#5: Putting & Chipping Circles: You need to get a set of these to go along with your alignment sticks. These are super useful for figuring out your short game and they’ve made a big impact on my golf game. Your goal with a long putt or chip is to get the ball inside the 6-foot circle.
#4: Top Tier Golf Pure Strike. If you struggle to hit your irons purely then this will be a great thing for you. This will make sure your swing plane is right and you’re actually hitting down on the ball. It’ll even help you learn how to fade and draw the ball.
#3: Pressure Putt Trainer: This is one of the cooler putting trainers out there and is much more effective than hitting into a cup at home. It’ll help you dial in your alignment and pace for putting because if you’re off slightly it won’t make it in the cup.
#2: PuttOut Mirror System: This is my all-time favorite putting trainer and is what I use in conjunction with the pressure putt trainer. It’ll help you align your body properly and also align the ball to the target. It also has a gate to help you start your golf ball on the right line.
#1: Ben Hogan’s Five Lessons: This isn’t exactly a training aid but it’s something you need to read if you want to improve your golf game. It talks about the fundamentals anyone can use to break 80. It’s full of helpful images and it’s short and pretty easy to read. It’s probably been the biggest help for my game.
