This week we’ve got our hands on the Cooper S with the six-speed manual gearbox, which is connected to a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that generates 184 horsepower and 201lb-ft of torque.
That combination is enough to get the 2675 pound Cooper S to sixty miles per hour in a scant 6.4 seconds. Starting at $23,600, the Cooper S brings both spirited performance and hints of BMW refinement to the table for relatively little coin. Let’s head out for a drive.
