My sister broke 50 for the first time on 9 holes after I showed her how to align her shots. Granted, her short game was non-existent this day. With some short game help, which we didn’t practice together, she can easily be shooting 40-45 for nine holes.
She hits a long ball and shit hits it where she aims but she was aiming all wrong. We need to find an intermediate point between the ball and the target. We can find something within 2 feet of the ball, in line with our intended target line. This will remove the worry of being aligned and then we have one less variable to worry about so we can just swing stress-free.
Teaski does need to work on the putting because she swings it back way too far and then decelerates on the way through. This will cause a lot of soft putts and putts missing on the low side. We did some work on it together but this was the last video we made together due to time constraints.
She is a BAUS and knows her PURPOSE for playing so this can guide her behavior toward that purpose. If we think we are as good as pros, what did we do to deserve that belief? If we want to play for fun, are we HAVING fun by putting ourselves in situations that are FUN?
